Handmade beeswax wraps are an eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap/storage containers. Your items will be preserved for longer in the wrap, but once you are finished the best part is you can re-use the wrap over and over! Use in the kitchen in place of plastic wraps, or fold into a snack bag, wraps your sandwiches/lunch.
Our Beeswax Wrap is Made from Quality Cotton, and our special blend of Organic Australian Beeswax, Pine Rosin and Grapeseed Oil. It is the rosin that makes these wraps stick just like cling wrap.
The warmth of your hands helps seal the wrap, so simple wrap/fold and hold a few seconds. Use the warmth of your hands to wrap Bee’s Wrap around a piece of food or over a bowl or casserole dish. When the Beeswax Wrap cools — within seconds — it holds its seal.
You can Wash your beeswax wraps in COOL WATER with eco-friendly dish soap. Rinse and air dry before storing in your kitchen draw.
Avoid use with meats or greasy foods since you cannot use hot water to clean.
If your wax wrap has been getting a lot of use and looking a little crumpled and tired, you can give it a revive by placing it between two sheets of baking paper and ironing. The hot iron will melt the wax and spread it over the fabric again. You may wish to grate a little extra beeswax if required.
