Felted playmat

These handmade play mats are a beautiful addition to your playroom. Perfect for creating a small world play space, or adding to bigger play table or seasonal tables.

This listing is playmat only, however we will also have some accessories available - animal figurines, toadstools etc.

Each mat is unique, and whether they are depicting a certain habitat or scene they remain very open ended.

Each mat is handmade my myself in Brisbane. I have used a combination of the wet felt technique and needle felting to create it, which results a strong, durable mat. The material of the play-mat is 100% natural, it is wool (natural or dyed). Wet felting technique is an ancient art craft where natural wool, water and soap are used to bind fibres create a unique and durable fabric.
