The low-to-the-ground, wide footing design of our balance beam encourages children to improve their gross motor skills, stability and sense of reaction safely; as well as support their self confidence. Perfect to use on their own or as part of a larger obstacle course. The chunky feet offer stability on a variety of surfaces.

Made from solid pine timber, making them light and easy to set up and pack away (and easy for shipping!) hardwood available on request.

The pine is a raw finish. We recommend you coat these in natural timber oil or beeswax and reapply when starts to wear. For safety reasons, we wouldn't recommended a standard varnish/paint unless it contains a non slip grit.
